@DrixUy Well the screen alone is a few hundred bucks, not sure about the graphics card
@dbarrera767 You sure? Well, how much will it cost?
@DrixUy I think you can upgrade both but it wont be cheap.
Pretty awkward. I’m actually watching this with my Sony VAIO S 13″ i5. Can someone please tell me if i can upgrade my display to 1600×900, ’cause mine is only 1366×768. And can i also upgrade my Hybrid graphics to 1GB? Thanks.
I want one!
-you like it this video buy it at %15off ok
W W W NO BAGS GREEN.C O M
the s series is cheaper now. It starts at $899
If I buy the Sony VPCSA21GX/BI and I want to upgrade to a SSD on my own, will it matter if I buy a 1.8″ or 2.5″ SSD?
i am going to by s13
mhehehehehehehehhehee
I really wish there’d be a normal review of the new Vaio SA series…. I can’t find anything about them…
I hate this machine. It will freeze your browser. Video editing is not good.
Look very nice BUT still have fan noise when use speed mode and it geting hot (Core i7 Model) and Scale down to only 800×600 when connect to many projectors. (Previous S series can display 1024×768) but this new model it’s lock to only 800×600. Then, if you are sales, speaker or teacher, beware to buy when use to connect with customer’s or university old proector.
@w3b3d1g1 1900×1200
what is the HDMI output resolution for the s series?
@kozadongre I’ve got a desktop but I like simple gaming, such as Minecraft etc. The HD 3000 from intel is okay for it.
@jh3496 why would you use these for gaming? the s series form factor/features make it an amazing laptop for work/uni(if i can save up haha) plus that extra battery slice thing is a really good thing to have.
It’s got a worse GPU than the Z series. The 330m beats that Radeon :. I’m gonna wait till June to see if the rumored thunderbolt external GPU laptop is true. If not I’ll probably go for this and a ViDock.
no microphone wit the cam?
sony sony sony, you and every other large tech company need to learn that we don’t need fancy production in tandem with a review; simply give us a guy in his bedroom telling us the truth, and we’ll be SUPER happy
Sometimes videos like this, can even turn us off to your product :/
Please give Canada a CTO CB!! We only have a CA CTO and that’s too small for many people. In fact there is NO fifteen inch CTO here now at all. Since that is a very popular size that’s just flat out weird to only offer pre config. The CB CTO in the U.S. has great options except that AMD card won’t work with all functions in all photo programs. AMD recognizes the issue so just switch to a different graphics card guys! But please offer us a fully CTO CB here!!
Sony if I buy the S series will you sue me if I install linux on it XD. Really nice laptops though.
just baught it it’s awesome same thickness as the mbp, better processor than the mac, extended battery, cheaper, better keyboard, blu-ray and excellent vaio quality
i bought this through sonystyle and got it the other week. it’s a great laptop but the one i got has the world’s worst lcd screen. very poor contrast and bleeding from bottom and top edges. i called and they told me they are going to arrange someone to “replace the screen”. i really hope that the new one is better than this.
If they EVER get round to releasing a configurable SA in Canada in white I will buy it. If it takes too much longer though for a z type replacement I’m getting a MBP…can’t wait forever for a new laptop.
